NB IOT Smoke Sensor
NB-IoT means Narrow Band Internet of Things. It is cellular-based narrowband Internet of Things in the IoT field. It supports the cellular data connection of low-power devices in the wide-area network. The technology is also called a low-power wide-area network (LPWA).
NB-IoT only occupies 180KHz frequency band, which means it can be directly deployed on GSM network, UMTS network, or LTE network, these kinds of networks support the efficient connection of devices with short standby time and high network connection requirements. Its main features are wide coverage, multiple connections, low speed, low cost, low power consumption, and excellent architecture. NB-IoT uses the license frequency band and can adopt three deployment methods: in-band, guard band, or independent carrier.
Geeklink develop the NB-IoT Smoke Sensor according to the ODM requirement of China Telegram company. They have built a series project that will deploy this kind of security solution.
This device directly revise the PCB of our normal GFSK feedback smoke sensor, as below.
